A pair of Hella FF75's fit very nicely inside the front bumper. 100 watt H7's are in there now, HID's to come soon.

They look really nice but are you sure they are the FF75? I searched the part number just to see the dimensional spec's and all the FF75's i've found are rectangular lights. Also how did the install go? anything difficult to do?

Tom, I salute your commitment to lighting  So HID bulbs will fit in those housings with no problems?

I think so but will find out for sure in a few days.

Definitely FF75.

Install was easy, needed some mild creativity. Behind the grill is an air defletor held in to the bumper by four plastic rivets. I popped out the rivets and used the holes in the bumper to mount the lights. No drilling necessary. I needed to fabricate a spacer, about 5/8", to elevate the light bracket a bit. I bolted them in with a 1 1/2" stainless bolt into a 1/4-20 "U-nut". I used the U-nut so I would not have to hold a nut from under the truck while I tightened the bolt from the top. They are wired in with a Xenarc wireless harness for now with the switch velcroed behind the steering wheel. That will change when I make my "master lighting harness" but it works well for now. Note that I did not remove the air deflector, I just needed to remove the four rivet to get the lights up in to the cavity. The two outside holes are held by the light bolts and I just put two new rivets in the center two holes. For the spacers I used some nylon spacers from Ace Hardware, but now that everything seems to git and look good I will have my gunsmith make me some more robust spacers from aluminum bar stock.

Those look great. Quite a contrast to my "four eyes".

BTW I'm still missing that script on your signature pic. Any chance of it coming back?

Thanks! I hade the four-eyes on my H2, but I did not want that look on the Denali.

New signature coming soon, I hope.

Miami Denali,

I am considering a pair of these Driving Lights for my car.

What's your opinion on the pattern spread and output intensity of the FF75's!!

:banghead: Awesome install by the way, unfortunately I don't have a slotted bumper!!

Once is enough! Sorry!

Power and output are mediocre, but that's to be expected from such a small lens. They do make a difference, but not a huge difference. I had Hella 7" on my expedition with the same 100w bulbs and they were amazing. You just can't expect to get the same performance from such a small fixture and reflector. I guess they're as much for show as they are for go.
