Gm 2500hd Best Offroad Options..advice!

I just sold my F-150 and planning to buy 2008-2009 GM Sierra 2500HD with best options for offroad!

 

Need your advice on the options for offroad mostly driving on sand which require a tough car!, also I am looking for extended cap with short bed, which I can't find like in the Ford?..

G80 Locker, aggressive off road tires, a lighter gas engine is often a benefit off-road, but it depends on what you'll be doing with it. Normally a 3/4 ton truck is not best suited for off-road use since it's suspension is so firm. But if by off-road you mean dirt roads, then that's not so much an issue.

Just order the Z71 package,It will give you the "G80" locking differential and the "NZZ" skid-plate package,along with 46mm shocks,off-road jounce bumpers,and a 36mm front stabilizer bar all in one package.

The Z71 package also requires that you order either the LT245/75R16"E" on/offroad tires or the LT265/70R17"E" all-terrain tires.

Yes,Engine oil & an auxiliary transmission oil cooler are standard with the 6-liter engine.
