Well it was a nice day today so i decided to take some pictures of the chevy all clean. Shes mostly all stuck now except for some minor changes:

Mods: Debadged door molding, painted lower valence, paint gray grill black, chrome bowtie (i know not many people like) Not sure what I want to do next. Probably a billet grill but they are so damn expensive.

What do you guys think of putting the new Silverado emblem thats on the doors of the new trucks on the door of this truck?

Thanks again guys

I like it a lot. Beautiful truck. I really still like the look of most the GMT-800 pickups more. They seem more 'solid' without all the big rolling panels. The first thing I'd do(and it's free) is remove the frame rail stickers. I'd probably also shave the rear emblems and replace the brake light in the hitch with a Chevy symbol(since you're shaving the logos off the back). Otherwise, I think it looks great. And I like the chrome Chevy symbol...something different that isn't gold and/or the color of the truck.

Thanks. I'm going to be painting the frame this summer so it doesn't show as much. I agree with you 100 percent that the GMT 800 trucks do look better. I do like the big front ends on the new ones however, I hate the rolling fender and rear panels. It just doesn't work on a pickup if you ask me. I hate to say it, but I saw a new super duty today and it still has the lines like I have and it look nice. Although I have seen some sweet new trucks too though. I plan on taking out the light as well. I just threw it in there from my past truck. What do you think of the silverado emblem idea on the doors?

Some great pic's there. You have a nice looking truck. Looks like you take great care of it.

Thanks....I owe alot on her yet so I have to keep her looking new. I spend more time with her then my gf but thats another story.

Personally, I don't care for it. I'm not much of one for mixing old and new. It might really look good but it might also look out of place.

I wouldn't add anything else cosmetic to the truck. But some new wheels or at least some BFG's would look awesome on a Z71. Oh, and they're quite functional too.

Nice rig. I say get exhaust next, stock is too quiet & that factory tip isn't too pretty. Would look good with a couple stainless ones sticking out.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure either yet about the emblems. I'm working on getting an exhaust now for it. I'd like to get a tonneua cover for it but not sure if you can have one if you have a bed liner like I have. Is it possible?

Looks Tough. Looks so much better than a lot of today's newer Chev trucks, IMO.

I'm just hunting for some nice weather to take some pics of mine.

Thats a beautiful truck!

Id take the bug shield off and put some 285's on it and then it would look even better. Oh and an exhaust of some type.
