On The Road Again! Finally

I love a good old Willie Nelson song haha! So yeah I am going to add the link for my build thread cause I still have alot of pictures and a couple more videos to post. So I will get right on that.

 

Truck drives as if it wants to be driven some more. Man I missed than thing. Now I cant wait till I can start using it for work again, maybe another 500 miles or so...

Ha ha Yeah I know right? Well I think that I am going to rent a truck with all the crap that me and the wife have accumulated! We sure cant wait! There is a couple of things that I need to do to BLKChevy to get it right but I am waiting to finish the rest once I got my own driveway and garage!

I've been fighting a surging idle since the beginning of the year. Everything I've tried doesn't seem to help. It's getting worse. Sometimes acts like the cruise control is on when it's not. I take off at normal throttle, and all of a sudden it just starts to take off on it's own.

You and me both. With the way my luck runs, it'll be something drastic, and they'll have it for a few days.

id be willing to bet if you just cleaned your throttle body it will take care of it, the newer gen engines seem to have this problem

I did that. The sob is as shiny as a babies ass. I also cahanged tps, iac and cleaned maf. Sorry if I took over your thread black chevy.

And BLKChevy, when are you going to start up on the front build-up? I'm waiting on that thread. Wanna see how time consuming/aja-ma-tating that whole experience is.

It turns out I have a large vacuum leak at the lower intake. First diagnosis was a bad pcm. But I went to another mechanic and he drove it, came back popped the hood and unscrewed the oil fill and wow, what a noise. Thanx for asking.

And BLKChevy, when are you going to start up on the front build-up? I'm waiting on that thread. Wanna see how time consuming/aja-ma-tating that whole experience is.
