Good Place To Buy Tires?

I just called my local tire warehouse for a price quote on the tires i want to get and even with my discount i get from them im looking at 248.00$ a piece. I know i can get them for much cheaper online somewhere so i'm asking if anyone knows of any place good to pick up some tires. Im looking to get the Cooper Discoverer STT tires in the 285/70/17 size or 33x12.5 r17 size depending on what i think will fit. I found a place on ebay that has them for $785 plus $100 shipping but i think i can do better.

I buy from Tirerack.com but I don't think they offer Cooper brand tires there. Great deals and fast shippping.

+1 on tirerack. I've found that my local Firestone store will basically match tirerack's price. They carry Firestone and Bridgestone but they have been willing to get Dunlops and Pirellis for me as well.

they arent too bad actually. Its the dang rim size thats killing me, that is whats making it so expensive. BFG m/ts arent any better

Not quite aggressive enough for me. Im lookiong for more of a mud terrain type tire. That sites not bad for prices though.

Might want to look into upgrading your rims to a 20 inch, pretty much standard size now, it may take a while for the 17 inch to become "common" Ran into this price problem when looking for 17's for my escalade, it was almost the same money to get 20 inch rims and an off brand of tires.

I was on Ebay looking for tires for the Vette and found Discount tire their prices were very good and free shipping I got 2 275 40-17 Falken tires for just over $200. for both,,they sell all brands and sizes for cars and trucks
