Opinions On These Wheels, Please...

I want something different from the norm on the NBS Sierra's. The reason these caught my eye is because I now have the Denali grille on my truck (and painted mirror caps), and these play very well with that grille. Also, they're different. I don't want the same Moto Metal wheels everyone else has. Please let me know what you think.

Eh, not a fan of those particular wheels. I don't think they go with that truck... or any truck for that matter. :) But that's kinda the risk you take with going "unique," that everybody might not like 'em.

What size?

Not a fan, sorry. Especially in a 20" size. They might be ok in an 18" size, but still not my taste. But it's your truck, not mine.

That's surprising to hear you say. :)

EDIT: I don't like them, personally.

I think they look a little better on the Gear Alloy site, but I'm still not real wild about them. Have you verified that they are available for your truck? I tried a couple of websites and I couldn't find that model of Gear Alloy Wheels for the Sierra 1500's.

Something else you might want to check is to make sure that the look / pattern of the wheel stays the same when the bolt pattern changes. I almost ordered some wheels a while back without realizing that the 6-bolt pattern wheels had 6 spokes and the 8-bolt pattern wheels had 8 spokes... The 8-bolt pattern wheels were the ones I had seen pictured everywhere and I really liked the 8-spoke wheels, but the 6-spokes just didn't look right to me... I was glad I found that out before ordering and receiving them.. :)

That thought has crossed my mind, and before I make a final purchase decision, I will of course verify that. Thank you though, because someone could easily make that mistake.

Yep! I had "assumed" that they would still be 8-spoke, just with 6 mounting holes... NOPE! Good luck!

Of the 2nd set of wheels, the 2nd ones remind me of the wheels on Zembones's truck. I think #2 and #4 are the best looking ones of the 2nd set of four.
