Climate Control, Heater A/c

I have a 2000 C1500 5.3 truck and the heater/ A/C blower motor will not blow on 1 or 2. When i got the truck about a year ago only 1 did not blow and now it's 1 and 2. Also, the lights are all out in the climate control. Any help on getting this fixed would be great. Thanks, Scott

Blower motor resistor. I had the exact same problem with my 2003 1500hd. This fix worked great. If you search here you'll find others with this issue. Here's the procedure laid out very nicely.

While that is one of the possibilities, the control head could also be the faulty part. Some diagnosis would be advised. PM me with your Vin and email so I know what system your truck has and what diagnosis to do.

You have two separate problems. You will need to replace the control head for the lights out issue. The blower speed problem is probably the resistor and I bet the connector is melted. You will need to replace it also.
