40-60mph Shimmy

I have a 2002 2500HD, 2WD, 6.0L, Extended cab, short bed, 91,000 Miles. I have noticed a shimmy or something out of balence felt in your hind end from 45-55MPH. Took the tires in today to check the balence. They balenced them and i still feel it and it is anoying to say the least. I am running 65# in the rear tires and 65# in the front. Shocks are Bilstiens and i have had them on the truck for around 5,000 miles. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Rotating 2 wheels only (eg LF to RR) will remove the only other tire/wheel possiblility from the equation. That way if you had a bent wheel on each axle it would put them together. Other wise it could be the driveline.

Have the machanic check ball joints, tie rods, and U joints.

I had a bad ujoint on my old s10 that did the same thing. It didnt take much play in the ujoint for the shaking to start.

Hey my truck had same problem from 45 to 60. Mine was my driveline. Had new u joints installed and balanced solved my problem. Maybe yours?
