I'm trying to find the fuel shutoff switch on this 04 cavalier-anyone happen to know where it is?

I'm trying to find the fuel shutoff switch on this 04 cavalier-anyone happen to know where it is?

I know Ford uses them but I've never heard of a cutoff switch on a Chevy.

Anybody else have some input here?

Pull the fuses and relays that the fuel pumps uses. Thats what they say to do when you install the fitch canisters or install that Vmax manifold spacer for the 96-98 Vortecs. But it should work for the Cav too.

Unless I am thinking about my wifes old escort, I thought that my 02 had a fuel shut off switch in the trunk... But other than that I would think that if there was one that it would be under the rear seat close to the door that you have to unbolt to get to the fuel pump....

It doesn't have one,GM does not use fuel pump shutoff switches.

Your looking for something that isn't there.

You are thinking of the escort. My sister has one and thats exactly where hers is.

I had an escort long ago. those silly cutoffs were in the trunk hidden in a wheel well panel near the strut towers...dam escorts
