Exhaust Question

I have a 2007 Silverado with the 5.#l. I was wondering if I unblted the flange on the exhaust right after the 2 pipes come together and before the muffler and run it like that will it throw a code or have any other problems.

Don't think so, but I do know it would be loud as hell...

It would be loud as hell that is a definite. As for your question, I'm pretty sure you would see a slight, but noticeable loss in power.

why would you want too as it wouldnt even sound good imo and i agree i think you would loose power.
