Installed new ECM and TCM from Jesse Bubb at Wait4Me and it won't start or turn over. I tried calling him but he does not answer the phone. Any ideas? I still have the stock ones so I can start it, but I want to try it out with the programmed ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dont know if your 06 is the same as the NBS but didn t you get direction for a re learn procedure? Did you disconnect battery and not connect it back? I don t remember the procedure but it s about 15 mins long and it won t start until thats done on mine.

Cerbomark I have a 2007 VortecMax just like yours except it won't start. I put the stock computer back in and it started right up so I could put it into the garage. I have never had a custom tune yet where something was not f**ked up. It is real easy changing out the computers though.

Update. The security relearn procedure for NBS is: Attempt to start, no start, leave key on for 650 seconds, shut off 30 seconds. Repeat this first step 3 times. At fourth attempt it will start. Final cost through Wait4Me for a retune was $503. $152 for a spare ECM, $149 for a new TCM at dealer, $134 for Jesse Bubb, $83 for a crank relearn at dealer. It was alot more than I had anticipated and now my dealer has it on file that I changed the ECM. I wonder shy we have to do the crank relearn after putting in a different ECM? It ran fine with the check engine light on. Maybe I should have lived with it. I did have it up to 120 mph early this morning with no traffic around. It did not feel as good as my old Silverado SS. We'll see how it does next month at the first truck pull.
