87 was the first year for fuel injection, I think what would be rare is a truck that is a 87 that is carberated. A couple of my friends have 87 fuel injected trucks..

+ You should do a newbie introduction before jumping in just so we get to know you and the truck you drive even if you are just on here to sell your truck!

i will try to put pics on when i go to work.Hudson is about 30 miles ne from denver. the truck has 156000 miles on it. and is a short bed.

The reson I am selling it is to fix a 1995 gmc 1500 excab. I have a baby on the way so i need more room.

I dont see whats so rare about it, I had a 1987 Chevy 4x4 with the fuel injection throttle body 5.0 and 700r4 tranny.

well this is the only year that they made them but try to find one is why they are rare. and if you do most owners are asking $5000.00 to $15000.00 i just want $4200.00. so look for a short bed with power widows and locks.

...the body style and TBI combo to some..maybe rare?? but no, not rare

for that "particular" year....Really like the two tone blue scheme on those though.

The tbi is a plus but I hated finding out about work invovled changing front brake rotors.

(i.e. pull axles...didn't some years change out without pulling those?)
