Most Functional Accessory Purchase You've Made?

I was reading one of the DIC threads today, and I got to thinking how for 100 bucks, that would have to be a fantastic upgrade. My truck came with the full DIC from the factory, but if would not have, that would have been a no brainer of an upgrade. So, I got to thinking what has been my most useful accessory purchase. For me, I'd have to say the step bars. The Line-X is nice too, but is only useful when actually hauling something. The wheel house liners make it look much better, but honestly they are more of a vanity upgrade than a functional one.

So, anyone else care to share what their most satisfying (ie: lots of function added relative to the price you paid) accessory and/or mod you have made to your truck has been?

My most functional accesories are my buggaurd because it protects my hood, my molded splash gaurds because they protect my fenders from stone chips, and my step bars because they make it easier to get in. Also I guess my ventvisors because i can crack my windows in the rain. I dont think most people like the looks of the accessories I have but I like their function.

I think my pick would have to be my Single In Dual Out flowmaster 40 siers, ( the head turner)..

I got a deal on the system total cost was 300$ people comment on it all the time, and its something i smile about everyday..

Also i never see gmt900's with custom exhaust.

Most satisfying? The exhaust and CAI. Most used, but rarely thought about? The side-steps. Most used and thought about/appreciated? The HID headlights. Bang for the buck? Those bungee chords I picked up last week.. :fume:

NEVER..?? (see below) :D

The full overhead console I installed in the Frederado.

Reg cabs just don't come with enough storage for stuff like sunglasses, cell phone, etc....SO I bought the long console from salvage, put it in, and everything was right as rain.

DIC upgrade (mine came without one) and the tonneau cover with expanding cargo bar and three totes I keep in the bed to keep stuff at the tailgate end.

I'm still adding the goodies but I have to say:

Mr. Mudflap hard mudflaps with SS plate they are larger and heavier them most and protect my boat from any road debris getting kicked from the tires

Husky Floor liners (The Heavy ones) you can spell a full cup of coffee and not worry about the carpet

Jason "Hugger" Hard Bed cover Looks really sharp and keeps all my stuff locked up

Wingnut tried to find the consol your talking about got a link?
