08 Silverado Ext Cab 5.3l Exhaust Upgrade?

I need some opinions on exhaust to help me pick the right one for my new truck. I am down to flowmaster super 40 or 44 single in dual out, with 3" dual split at the rear. I want the loudest and deepest sound possible, super 40 or super 44??????????????? Any ohter suggestions would be helpful.

I say just saw off the exhaust pipe before the muffler. That will give you really loud sound.

I got true dual super 44s on mine and my buddy has them on his fx4 and neither of us are very impressed with the sound.

unless you're making north of 400 horse: dual 3" pipes will be too large, stick with 2.5"

 

cut the muffler off and y-pipe it if you want it to be as loud as possible.
