Howd everyones xmas eve turn out?

Mine wasnt to bad.  My grandpas neighbor made jello shots.  He kept bringing a tray around with em and i kept taking them.  Had i dont remeber how many.  Drank alot of apricot brandy and ate alot of food.  Went to midnight mass (that was late didnt get home till 2:30).  Opened some presents and went to bed.  Woke up with a huge headache. Now i gotta go to my other grandmas

Jello shots and brandy, no wonder you got a headache.  Staying up at my parents house, sister lives close by.  Went to her house Christmas eve, had prime rib, ham, lots of good cookies and pies.  My other sister came with her family, my sisters inlaws all came, lots of family.  Opened up lots of presents, since the one sister won't be here today.  Still a lot more presents to open this morning, going over for Christmas breakfast this morning and I think Santa is going to come by for the kids.

Huh?  Santa was dressed as your mom?  I've heard a lot of tales about Santa over the years....never knew he was a cross-dresser.  Red and green pantyhose I assume?

Christmas eve was quiet for us.. Some family stayed over at our place since it was a long drive.. The family did there tradition here of eating seafood   :sneek:

So let me see if I got this right. You got liquored up befor mass then woke up this morning with a headach. Sounds like somebody is paying for there sins. j/k Merry Christmas Ryan.

It hit me kinda hard cause i havent drank in awhile.

 

My cousin had alot to drink at his house xmas eve and when i seen him xmas day he had a shirt on that said sober.  Its was pretty funny

Chev4Ever, I like the shound of your seafood tradition.  I love seafood.

 

Spent Christmas day at my sisters, kids opened lots of gifts and then Santa showed up and gave them more, kids loved it.  Spent the afternoon trying out one of my sisters gifts, a little Craftsman vacuum.  Cleaned the interior of my truck, and then helped her remove all her seats from her Olds minivan and clean that out also.

Spent the last 4 days (up till XMas day) remodeling our kitchen.  Almost strangled the Home Depot dingbat that was loading the new cabinets on my truck with the forklift.  As he was pulling the forks out of the pallet he wasn't adjusting the angle to compensate and he started scratching the plastic tailgate cover before I yelled at him.  I had to show him how to get the forks out without scratching anything.   :angry:

 

Finally finished the kitchen on X-Mas eve after many, many trips back to Home Depot for those little "miscellanous" things that seem to pop up.
