Nav And Sunroof Help!

I have a 2006 Denali...

What DVD is the most current for the Nav?

I hate that the sunroof has that "lip" that pops up when I open it (it creates a lot of wind noise). Would I cause damage to my sunroof if i was to remove that wind deflector, or is that part of the sunroof and is needed for it to shut and keep out water?

Well the "lip",which is a wind deflector,is like mine on my '07 "NBS" truck,if you remove it you will have even more wind noise.

I know on mine I pushed it down once just to see what it would do,and I couldn't believe the wind noise that it made with it down.

Push yours "down" while your driving down the road and you should see what I mean.

Thanks! I already tried it with the "lip" down, and I feel like I like it better with no "lip".

Do you know if this affects the sunroof if I was to talk this "lip" off? I don't want to have water come into the Denali...that would be a badddd dayyyyyyy

Are you sure? Did you try pushing the lip down with the rest of your windows rolled up? That deflector is there to break up the wind and prevent that really annoying wind buffeting effect. It's something lots of folks in other cars experience, who don't have the deflector. Otherwise, you'd have to roll down a window or 2 to make it go away.

I'm not sure if removing it would mess with anything, but I'd try it again, perhaps at higher speeds.

Thanks!....I was traveling at about 80 mph...and had all the windows up...I don't mind the "buffeting" sound...i like that I get more wind into Denali so I don't have to use the AC as much.

I am trying to find a way so I can have the a choice to put up the "lip" or let it down when I want it.

if you know of anyone that has a 2 sets of the factory 20 inch rims (like the ones you have)...I have the factory 17's and want to upgrade to the 20's....please let me know!
