Key Won't Turn In The Ignition...

I have a 2003 GMC Sierra and I tried to start it up today and the key would not turn in the ignition..I've had trouble with it before but it would eventually turn...and sometimes when I try to turn it off it's gotten stuck at the accessory and I could pull the key out but the radio and stuff would still be working..But it's been a long time since I've had this problem before today...

 

We tried to turn the steering wheel while trying to turn the key, didn't work.

 

Jiggled the shifter..no luck.

 

 

Any other troubleshooting methods? All help/advice apreciated, thanks!

I drive a 2500hd truck for work that does that... What I have to do is try to turn the key while at the same time pulling the key in and out of the ignition...
