Vmax In Local Parade Tonight

Well, I get to drive my truck in a parade tonight.

 

Some freinds of ours own a local Carbones Pizza and every year they set up a booth at the Manitou Days event in White Bear Lake, MN. Since he has to run his booth, his wife and daughter and our family drive in the parade. They have a POS Sebring Convertible that they have me drive. This year I said I would drive, but I am driving my truck. He said fine, but he wants to put magnet signs on to advertise for Carbones. I said I would, but I intend to put them on the rear passenger windows. I will leave the tailgate down and the wives and kids can ride back there and toss out the goodies from there. They also walk along and hand stuff out too.

 

I just hope I don't run over my wife's foot again like I did last year with the Sebring. I am guessing it may hurt a tad bit more this time around. (She actually looked at me like it was my fault for an instant before realizing it was her own fault. )

What I'd watch out for is launching whoever is sitting on your tailgate on to the street. Seriously. You've got a custom tune now, and I can just picture you smoking the wheels and people falling off the back of your truck onto the ground. That would be funny.

 

What kind of goodies does the pizza place give away? Pepperoni?

Beaded necklaces with coupons attached. At least that's what they did the last couple of years. I am hoping they got smart though and did something else this year. Those damn beads get all tangled up. I gave up on trying to see some titty from the Milfs on the curbs. I guess it's not quite Mardi Gras.

Just after we traded from a SRW to DRW truck I dropped my wife at the door of a supermarket...... she almost didn't step far enough away from the truck to clear the outside dual, but luckily the fender brushed against her first and that startled her so she jumped back.

Do it, they have a beach party at Memorial Beach afterward and fireworks at dusk. Usually a pretty good time. Bring Beer!!!

Well....the wife's best friend (the wife of the Carbones owner) does go about 350 bills, so I guess you could consider her a "float".
