Hello guys (glad to be back)

I am new to this site. I hope to become a big help to everyone. I have owned GMC's few years and left the current site I was on I got into diesel and traded a 04 GMC youkon on an 07 2500HD with 6.6 with nothing to tow except a trail jeep and that big 4-door truck with all the power got old and did the price of fuel. Anyway I have a 07 GMC yukon now and I am looking for a lift I bought a 3.5 inch Pure Suspension by Rock krawler. It came the other day and I could not believe what came in the box 6 tall nuts (strut spacers) and new coils, what is that safe. the nuts or spacers are only 1" and 7/8 almost 2" so I called manufacter and they said it was a leverage thing now I am real nervous. got on Pure Suspension website now they offer a new Kit a 4 inch and it comes with new upper A's and round spacers. Plus to install the kit I have I must cut the oem strut bolt off to 1/2" anyway I hope to find out do I need to pay more get the 4" kit or use this one or another I dont wat a 6" or to pay the money for a 3" Skyjacker plus why would a 3" come with all the items that the Skyjacker does if you can do this for 500 bucks to a grand with some spacers and new coils. Pure and Rock Krawler make good high end kits I use them on my trail rig. I also am looking at the rough country kit. Why do al the suspension companies have a different way to lift the 07-08 GM trucks and SUV any suggestions or any opinions will be great. My goal is an agressive level stance and to be able to run 33x12.50 or 13.50 R 18 on a set og KMC XD Diesel wheels (anyone with that combo on thier truck or SUV plese send pics) Thanks

Thank You again

Hey Milspec if you read about the rough country kit on here you will find it has been installed on a few trucks and then removed because its no good.

BDS offers a 2" front suspension leveling lift and a 2" body lift kit for the 07-08 Tahoe/Yukons. They also have a 6" suspension kit if you wanted to get real serious. I think the leveling kit with a 2" body lift would allow you to run 33's without a problem and give the truck a nice rugged stance for about $500 bucks!!! hope this helps some.

Stay away from the RC lift kits....the leveling kit is about the only thing I like so far. Mainly because there isnt much to screw up as far as quality goes. Getting a full refund for my kit. Its off now and she's back to normal. Thank god

Sorry to hear that the RC kit had to come off, which way are you going now? maybe a 6" lift or a 2" leveling kit with 3" body lift.
