2004 Silverado 4wd Fail

I have a 2004 Silverado 4wd. I was driving with Auto FWD, and suddenly the button get off and a message of service 4wd appear. I already reset the message and it dissapear, but the control is not working anymore, I already change the control and it didn't work. What else can I do?

you replaced the buttons on the dash???

Yes, I already replaced them.

Go to an autozone or whereever you go for auto parts and get them to scan the truck for any trouble codes and clear them.

if they clear em, get what the codes were and I can try to run them to determine a root cause
