Gmc/chevy Center Console Upgrade Question

Hey guys, my single cab sierra came with that crappy center jump seat that has a little storage but no cover or anything and I hate it with a passion!! I want to upgrade that center console, I know that the regular center consoles with the storage under the seat and the lid will fit in my truck and that would be my second option but I was wondering if anyone knew if the large center consoles would fit in the single cab 08 sierras .. the brackets look the same from the pictures, looking for input, thanks

I think that it should, we put the better center seat in with the storage under the seat and the lid-seat back that opens and that all lined up ok . Kevin

They are semi-swappable. The one in your picture is from a Tahoe of Yukon (I've seen that one on eBay) and apparently does not have the front most portion with it that would kind of finish it off. I believe the trucks have a one-piece lower on the console and the Tahoes/Yuk's have a two-piece lower. The problem is that the SUV console has a large void up front for the radio wiring that gets hidden by the part of the dash that hangs down on the SUV's. Without that sort of dash, there's a large whole left that would show quite visibly. I don't think you'd like the results.

This guy has had this one listed for at least a year so if you are going to buy it from him, message him and make him an offer because he can't sell it at the price he wants to sell it for. The listing also says it has been stored and has "scratches." I bet it does. I'd be cautious with this one and maybe ask for more pics. Plus, he's missing the second piece I spoke about earlier.

Ok thanks for the reply .. Yea I know that my brothers Yukon has this type of console, but I also have seen this type of console in a few crew cab and extended cab sierras at my work and I thought for sure they had the same type of front dash that I have.

Remember that there are 2 different interiors for the trucks. The lt and the ltz. Since there are 2 different interriors there are 2 different consoles.

The console on the ebay auction is from an ltz interior and would not look right in your truck.

Thanks for the info Daddy. (Am I the only one that feels like a pervert calling a grown man other than my father daddy?). I have the center jump seat and was thinking about going to the center console as well. I check ebay when I remember but have yet to see one.
