Longer Bed On Half-ton Gmt 900's?

Anyone get this? Why have the NNBS and NBS 800's and 900's only had 5.5 foot long beds offered on the crew cab 1500's. I wish GM would at least do a 6.5 foot like ford or dodge (thats the only good thing they got going on there junk!) :dunno:

Any chance in the next yr or so we'd see a long bed offered on the crew cab half-tons?

Thoughts on this?

Chances of much in the way of BIGGER trucks are dying with high oil prices. "Lighter & Smaller" are going to be the new "New & Improved"

We'll probably see a 3.5' bed introduced before a standard bed on crew cabs :dunno:

Doesn't the hummer h2 truck have that stupid small box in it? hahaha! I was watching a TV show about buying houses, and this kid was like, "Hey! This garage is big enough to fit my 'ol pickup truck in!" Then it showed his "pickup truck" - a Hummer H2 truck. His "Pickup Truck" wasn't old and wasn't really a "pickup" truck. Unless ladies count as cargo. You could fit a really fat one in there or like 5 skinny ones.

My extended cab regular bed won't even fit in our standard garage. When I had a regular cab regular bed it barely fit in the garage.

Just buy a bigger house with a bigger garage. That should solve your problem!

It would be easier to add a couple of feet to the existing garage (maybe 6 ft or so)

A smaller house with a bigger garage would also work
