Hid Question/problem

I have projector headlights on my 07 Classic Silverado. The projection beam itself is very nice... but even the brightest brands of bulbs arent that bright. I have noticed this with the H1 and also H3 bulb types

I want to do H.I.D's but there's one problem. The projector housings hold an H1 bulb... then have the wires converted back into a factory 9006 socket for "plug & play"

How would I do HID's with this set up? Is there a way to get a seperate adapter?? Or am I S.O.L???

Buy the HID kit for the H1's that are needed for your light housing and then wire up a relay harness with 9006's going in and H1's coming out.

I don't recall where the threads are but there are several here with info on where you can buy the harnesses from. A little searching should find them. You're likely going to need to buy a relay harness for the H1's and then simply splice in the 9006 plugs where necessary.

Thanks man, I think I'm gonna use the wiring adapter from the projector lights... Buy a H1 HID kit and use that wiring converter into the 9006 and splice them that way.

Thats what you were talking about right?
