Removing Hardened Wax Residue

I need to remove a bunch of white wax residue, some on my trim and lots of "specks" on my vinyl tonneau cover, i cannot get them off with anything, i've gone as strong as lacquer thinner, am i going to have to live with these because they are unsightly!

Why would he throw away something he can easily fix, thats stupid. Maybe he doesn't have the money to throw around.

Ever try WD-40? clay bars if on paint surfaces? dishwashing detergent? Mothers back to black? Meguiars trim detailer? Simple Green?

Try a gum eraser (for pencil artwork, etc) for the hard plastic (tailgate wing, door handles). The pink erasers do not work well, but I have had success with gum erasers. I'm not sure about the tonneau.

Try Mother's Back to Black. Takes some rubbing, but works great.

I have used the back to Black with some good results. Careful using ant petroleum products as they can permenently damage the finsih.

I keep a three pack of the Mars Staedtler white erasers in my garage. It was about $2 for this pack at the office supply store and 3 will last you for years. I'm still using the first one and I purchased the pack about 3 years ago...I guess I have two extras for when I misplace the first one
