2007 Suburban Driver Side Window

I got a 2007 Suburban and when I lower my driver side window it makes a really loud noise. Not all time though, but when it does it, it is really loud. What can I do to makes that noise go away? Should I take it to the dealer so they can check it out?

If it's still under warranty, I would take it back to the dealer to check out.

 

What does the noise sound like? Glass scraping? Metal binding? A squeal? Any scratches on the glass? Does the sound come more from where the window enters the door or from inside the door? There could be some debris on the window gasket the window slides down through.

Bring it back to the dealer.

I guess it sounds like a squeal, it does it when I put the window halfway down. If I lower less than half it doesn't make any noise at all. It doesn't do it all the time though, but when it does it is really annoying. I guess I'll take it to the dealer soon, let the warranty take care off it.
