Nerf Bar Fit

I have a 2002 ext cab sierra, will the nerf bars from that fit on an 2008 Crew Cab Nbs?

I'm gonna say probably not without some custom fabrication. Here's why:

1. Frames are different, mounting holes are probably not in the same location.

2. Old truck is an ext. cab. Crew cab is 6-8" longer in the cab. The nerf bars are probably 6-8" too short.

I was thinking that way, but not sure of the old cab size compaired to the new style, ext, CC.
