Lifting On A Budget

Looking to throw some 35" on my 04 sierra z71 . could i get away with a 3 inch lift .. or give me some insight on a cheap lift ... thanks

No such thing as a cheap lift. If you want to fit 35's with only a 3" body lift, expect to do a lot of trimming, and a lot of rub. Also most 35" tires are too wide to run safely on stock wheels, so you're looking at new wheels too.

 

Don't just crank the hell out of the torsion bars, either. It will be cheap height at first, but down the road the repair bills from all the added wear on the front suspension will bite you in the ass, and it'll end up costing more than a lift would.

If theres one thing i read about lifts more than anything, is never do it "on the cheap". Itll cost you wayyyyy more in the end. Save and do it right the first time. For 35s youll most likely need 6"
