Wtf? Brett Favre - Who Cares?

Does anybody REALLY care what Brett Favre does? It's all I frikkin hear anytime I check ESPN...

Sure, the guy was a stellar "go to" guy and stand up player, but what the heck is all of this crap about him coming back and who cares? Like most, I loved watching him play but after a "retirement" that was due, he should find a comfy place on the couch and make room for the younger players IMHO.

Anybody?

Um...Brett Favre probably cares....and....and....Oh I know...Michael Jordon does too, because his won't be the most recent stupid comeback anymore

I know I don't care but I do care enough to watch him weasel out of his contract. Seems to me Green Bay has him by the balls and won't let go. He should have kept his mouth shut for 1 year till his contract was up.

He's made noises about retired for what, 3 years? He finally(!!!!!) followed through with it, this year... Or at least he seemed to. Stay retired!

It's like Mark Martin (in Nascar). He's been saying for 3, 4, 5 years that he was going to retire.. Yet, he just announced that he's moving over to Hendrick to run full-time in Cup for at least another year or TWO. !?!?

If you're not SURE you want to retire, don't even mention it. If I made noises to my boss every year that "I might just quit, when this next project is up" I'd already be GONE. He would've SEEN TO IT! I'm sick of hearing these athletes flip-flop, back & forth about retirement. Either do it or not. But, shaddap about it!

If he does play again , his team should do like they did on the longest yard move to the side and let the defense hammer his old whinney ass. Stay retired Farve before your old ass gets hurt.

^^^Minnesotas next QB!!!!

The only teams that have shown interest are Tampa and the Jets. The Jets are the most interested, but they suck....

Looks like he is staying in GB.

Too bad for Aaron Rodgers.

I liked Favre, but I have lost most/all of my respect for him the last couple years. If he came to MN, I would take a year off from being a Vikes fan. IF they were to win a SB with Favre, it would take away any and all bragging rights between Vikes fams and GB fans since the GB fans would say (rightfully so) that it required a GB HoF player to get it done.

It'll never happen though, so no worries.

Just another flush of the professional sports toilet in my book. Most have gone completely to hell in the last 10 years. I don't know about hockey, but football and basketball have gone to the corporate sponsorship dogs and baseball isn't far behind. I used to really love Sundays watching the big screen

:crackup::lol::D:crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup:

All I have left is college sports and they aren't much better.

Whats next? High School?

If he stays in GB, I think that'd be about the worst things the GB management could do for the team. I think they should dump his indecisive @$$ to another team.

Can't say I disagree with you Jim. Pro sports, and the players, are going to hell in a handbasket. But I try to shut that out, because I love Pro Football and Baseball. I have to in order to put up the Vikings.

The Twins are in 1st place!!! WooHoo! Not bad for a bunch of no-names and an entire payroll that's less than a few individual player's (i.e. A-rod and I'm sure there are a few others too).

I still love my baseball... I guess I just look the other way but they don't seem as bad as the others.

Way to go Twins! Too bad they will choke in the stretch. I'd love to see them deep in the playoffs.

All MN teams choke in the stretch. Why do think our state is shaped the way it is?

Oh well, at least with the Twins, winning the division is all that can be expected with the way the league is set-up. They need a salary cap in baseball. Revenue sharing is worthless.
