Trico Neoform Replacement Wipers...

Based on suggestions on this forum, I replaced my stockers with the TriCo neoform wiper blades.

On my vehicle, at least, they chatter something fierce and make noise like cra-z.

Anyone else have this issue???? I'm about ready to put the stock ones back on.

I tried:

1) wiping down the blades with an alcohol swab

2) cleaning the windshield with a good aerosol, body shop-grade, window cleaner

All to no avail.

They do wipe the glass extremely well, but the chattering and streaking noise is over-the-top.

I had those and didn't like them. I switched to the rainx blades that are just like those.

Frank, Trico is our supplier and we do sell the Neoform blade. I have been in the parts business for 30 years now and have seen wiper blade "improvements" come and go. For the most part these so called improvements are marketing hype and a feeble attempt to get you to spend $20.00+ on a blade instead of $7.00 or $8.00. I use regular CARQUEST blades by Trico and wipe them down with a good silicone spray (265 Duragloss)about every 2 months or so. I typically change them about every year to 18 months.

One of my Acct Execs has Neo Forms on his Impala and they do a great job but did become noisy much sooner than I would have expected.
