Alright i finally got my LED's and had time to do this.. and it is def worth it!!!!

you will need

6, 5 LED 194 Bulbs in the color of your choice

4, T1.5's in the color of your choice

it was $31 shipped for the whole dash...

i ordered all of them from www.superbrightleds.com i have already made 3 orders from them and have all come in 3 days..

anyways..

This is what it looks like stock:

First step removing switches...

take a flat head screwdriver and pry at the very top blank spot and it will come out...

the cargo lamp is a PITA.. the airbag takes about 2 seconds to remove ....

Next push out the Dimmer/ headlight switch.. it is very simple you just push on the black area and it come out the back...

Now you just reach around the dash and push the 4x4 selector if you have one and it comes right out.. then take the plug off the back this one is kinda hard to get off as well..

To take the radio out you press these two clips down on both sides of it and it comes right out very very easy...

now on the HVAC controls you will see 4 little grey sockets with lights in them you twist them out and put the new ones in... you have to put the leds in the right way or they wont light up. just twist them 180 degrees..

this is what the old bulbs / new bulbs look like

when it is finished it will look like this:

Next There are 4 7mm screws holding the gauges on.. take those out and it comes right out as 1 peice.

This is what the back of the gauges look like: all of the bulbs you need to replace are marked ILL and have a socket right next to it...

This is the finished product: will take some pics at night but you get the idea....

nice, easy mod. I like the look and the fact that your dash lights are now forever maintenance free, and use less power (right?).

Anyway, I don't imagine its that easy on every model, but I'd definitely look into it if it came as a kit with instructions ... and a 2500 cluster with tranny temp guage

well for 96-98 trucks its the same...

you would have to ask thunderstruck about a 95.. he did this on i think it may be a little different..

and obs trucks didnt have a 2500 cluster with a tranny temp gauge. but we did have a police edtion with a 130 mph speed limit!!!
