Dash Removal

Hey guys, just found your corner of the internet! Just bought an 08 GMC Crew Cab Sierra. Looking to put my 2-din Kenwood DVD player in it from my old truck and subs/amp. Just looking for a little insight on what all I need to remove before I get too far into the project. Have the modules on order for the wire harness and still trying to figure out which module I need to retain the factory steering wheel controls. Any help you guys could throw my way would be awesome. Hoping to have all the stuff within a week or so, i'll be sure to post up pics of the box and DVD player install when im finished.
