New Nav Radio Pn

Hi.

 

I recently purchased a new Nav Radio, but when i got it installed the dealer couldnt program it as it said that the part wasnt in its system the problem is that now the chimes are very loud and the speakers are poorly equalized

 

GM Part: 25925494

Delphi Part: 28128778

Manufacture Date: June 14th 2008

 

Any Suggestions (PD I live in Mexico)

 

I have an 07 Crew Cab Silverado with 6cd and bose

i have the same radio im trying to install in my 07 scnbs and i took it to the dealer and they told me the same. this part number does not appear in its system..........can anybody help

probably because the unit is stolen....LOL

whats it got to do with the unit being stolen to gm not having it in its system. the part number

They told me when i took it to Laredo that the radio was made for a buick, therefore they couldnt program it, but i dont see how is that relevant if it sounds and works except for the exceptionally loud chimes.

 

lawazita, have you tried installing your radio to see if it exhibits the same symptoms as mine?

It seems I am having the same problem...The nav is also from a buick. I wonder if these buicks have some kind of different speakers or something. I havent gone to the dealer to get it unlocked yet. I'll see what I can do in the next few days to get it unlocked.
