Opinions On Exhaust Systems

I'm looking at putting a new exhaust on my truck in the near future, I'm looking for some opinions on what people are using and if they would recomend any particular brands.

i went to an exhaust shop and had them put a cherry bomb pro single in dual out muffler on my truck and had them put it out in front of the rear tire it cost me a lot less than one of the other exhausts u could buy but i probably didnt see a hp gain though either.

Flowmaster here - depends on what type of rumble you are going for - and if you like interior noise or not.

 

 

I think edelbrock makes a muffler - I would love to see how one of those sounds on a truck!

Would go Flowmaster if I had to do it again. Magnaflow disappointed me by requiring a REsonator for in Cab noise on my truck.

 

I'm curious to know how the "Aeroforce" muffler's are.

The last muffler i put on my 98 Camaro was an Aeroforce. It had a nice sound without being outrageously loud 90% of the time. If you got on it though it definitely made all the right noises. Don't know how well it flowed, but i was putting down 395rwhp through cats and that muffler

There aint not better flow than flowmaster...no sound deadening materials like magnaflows that burnt out and change sound after awhile....For trucks the original 40 series is the way to go...however i recently had the New Super 44 series which is to have better flow and sound than the original 40s on my 06 GTO and it was bad nasty!!!!!!!
