I have a 2003 Yukon XLt and a few months back, my power window started going out intermittenly. Recently it has gone all the way out. I bought another motor from ebay and, at the time, I could get no information on replacing it. Well I attempted any way and ended up ruining the wire. :D I now need to replace the entire rugulator including the motor. Can you please give me a step by step on how to do this? Diagrams and pictures would be a plus. How long does this usually take? Thnx... :D

I'm not sure about the regulator, but I've replaced the whole unit. It comes with the two rails that the window rides in, plus the motor and cables. I've had to replace the one in my drivers door twice, and the pass side once. (lovely design) It's not really that hard, just prop the window up, undo the bolts holding it in the rubber grips, then undo either 5-6 bolts that hold the rails in. You have to twist it to get it out the bottom, then reverse to put the new one in. I'm down to about 40 min from the time I start til I finish. Hope this helps you.

If you do a good enough search there is a link to a page with step by step with pictures I think. I'm sure one of the residents can pull it right out of their butt if they look here.
