X2, stick with the long tubes, the shorties aren't as beneficial.

Does anyone know if you need the y pipe along with the long tube headers to complete the install? and do the long tube headers eliminate any cats that the truck wouldn't pass emissions?

thanks!

Yes, you'll need a y-pipe. You can get the y-pipe with or without cats. Since you're looking at one with cats, just make sure the header/y-pipe kit comes with extensions for your O2 sensor cables. You'll need them.

Jenna, how are those AEMs holding up? Those sound about $500 better then the dynatech system.

Love em, have em on both the Tahoe and the SS.

Or you can make your own extensions...It's not too hard.

And don't forget to tune out the rear ones if you're going catless...And you WILL want a tune after LT's.

Good to hear, now I just gotta find a good place to get them from, any suggestions?

I think I've seen them listed as low as the $800s.
