'06 Tahoe Rear Door Won't Open. Any Ideas?

For some reason my 2006 Tahoe's back door won't unlock, nor will the window unlock. This isn't the rear side doors, this is the back hatch door. Any ideas on what's causing it?

na im just being an a**... but seriously did it sound like something snaped when you shut it last? Is it the dual doors or does it have the tailgate and window setup?

Single door with window. Not really a tailgate as the whole thing opens upwards as one, or the window opens alone, or at least they're supposed to. Anyone know if it might be a fuse and if so, which one? I wanted to avoid a warranty visit as the closest dealer is 120 miles away.

It takes a special tool to get these open if there isn't any power to the door.

Sorry for that, just having some fun . Check the ecc fuse in the fuse block on the driver side of the dash.

if you hear a electric "click" noise but the door still doesnt unlock, it could be that one of the internal metal links is loose or broke, if that is the cause you are gonna have to remove the door panel from inside to get it opened and fixed, if you dont hear anything it could just be a blown fuse..

Checked the ECC fuse and a few others & they were all good. Guess I'll make an appointment for a warranty check.
