Trailer Lights Harness (what Am I Missing?)

K i got my truck it has the harness in the back just figured it would work...but nothing happens, i put my power meter on it and tried everything and nothing works, checked all the fuses and still nothing....now a friend of mine has a tacoma and he said he needed a relay of some sort, does the same go for me?

I want to say I attached some wires to the power post in the fuse box under the hood. Look around for a bundle of loose wires bundled together-I think.

Did you check the two trailer fuses in the box under the hood? (TLR R & TLR L) I think is what is on mine.
