Newbie Needs Transmission Help?

Hey guys, I have a GMC 2003 2500 4x4 with a 6.0L. Well yesterday on the drive home something gave on it, no warning whatsoever. Drove about 150 miles no issues, started pulling up a hill and the rpm's went up and no the truck lost all it's gears, just like it had gotten bumped into Neuteral. Well, rolled to a stop and went to put it in park, and it chattered in park similar to if you were to put it into park when your moving. Fluid is up, no leaks, nothing visably wrong. Biggest things is no gears whatsoever and when in park and the truck is running, it sounds like your moving and trying to jam it into park.

 

Any thoughts???

Hmmm, makes me wonder. My 4wd would only engage if I was stopped. If I was moving, it made the same sound as when I put it into park now... Maybe the transfer case is f-ed completely?
