Fuel Pump Replacement

Does anyone know what the stock fuel pump brand was on a 1998 GMC K1500 with the 5.7L? I think it was a Delphi but want to make sure. Everything I have read on the forum suggest replacing with the OE brand. Everyone that suggest this seems to have the best luck with the new pump not failing in a short amount of time. Any places people can suggest to get a new pump is appreciated.

Don't know what part of the country you are in but around here a company called Full Service Auto Parts is really hard to beat on the Delphi stuff. Might check with some local parts houses and see. Dealer is gonna be high.

Doesn't Carquest get OEM parts? I'm thinking they do. Just give them the vin#, and they can get it for you. I, myself, got one from the dealer for around $360. They listed for $425, or something like that.
