That's good to see. I am impressed with the Silverado numbers alone, but what is really impressive is if you total the BowTie numbers and GMC numbers (including HD models) GM made up 45% of the total fullsize truck sales. Then if you tally in the Avalanche it bumps it up to almost 48%. I hope it keeps up.

I have always thought that they should combine the silverado/sierra sales number but at the same time its good to see the silverado hold its own...

Just goes to show you that if they lower the price enough people will buy anything even if gas is $4 a gallon. I love my silverado and I'm really glad I bought it.

It's all good until gas prices go back up again. Then those same people will be trying to unload their trucks all at once. But that is great news for GM though.

True, but numbers can be misleading. The Camry does not have huge incentives, while almost all trucks do, thus resulting in less profit. Sales might be up, but profits are not.
