Tire Pressure Sensor Nut

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know the part number to the nut that goes with the tire pressure sensor so it can be mounted to the wheel.

The illustrations don't show a nut as part of the assembly.

I have no idea as to how it is installed into the wheel since I was never able to really look at them prior to the wheels being stolen.

New wheels will be here tomorrow and I want to make sure I have everything needed to get them installed.

The GMT900 pickup tire pressure sensors don't use nuts to hold them in,They look just like regular valve stems that "push" through the hole.

Then I guess I got the wrong sensors. Damn GMPD online catalog....

Being that is the case, what is the correct part number for the sensors used on the GMT900?

After doing some major searching I have finally came up with the most current part number (its been superceded a couple of times). I am just posting it up to help someone that may need it in the future.

GM Tire pressure sensor part number: 15922396

GM Wheel service kit (replacement stem): 15263240

Also part numbers for the actual manufacturer, Schrader-Bridgeport.

Sensor w/stem : 20153

Valve stem only: 20008

These are available at Oreilly's, Autozone, etc.

Price is pretty much the same there as at the dealer, $53 vs. $57.
