Just putting ideas together, seeing what my options are. I dont want to mess this up so I am looking to do a LOT of research before I start buying parts and putting it together.

Did you you get a price quote on #4? I found a guy that works for Allison and through them the rebuild cost about $6000 but this guy will do it on the side for about $2500-$3000 and he is out of Charlotte... Guarantee's 5 years with up to 1000 RWHP...

Awesome. :loser:

And we'll need lots of pictures and videos. Any timeline for this?

Pictures and videos will be definate. Timeline? Umm.... As I get the money? :puke: Like I said I am just putting Ideas together and checking out my options. This is my daily driver so the mods have to be done rather quickly.

So I kinda jumped the plan a little bit today. :cheers: A co-worker was going through a divorce and was selling a bunch of left over stuff. So I looked around and BINGO, toolbox! Her ex had a 03' Silverado with this toolbox on it and didnt want it any more, JACKPOT! She also threw in 2 grease guns, a set of 3 ton jackstands, and a 3 ton bottle jack, all for $100! I felt bad but thats all she would take. I went to Lowes and got bolts, washers, nuts, a drill bit (this S.O.B. is going nowhere) and voila;

Nice. :dunno:

Now take off that giant CRAFTSMAN logo.

Thanks Dan. I tried to take the sticker off but its stuck to a black background that is riveted to the box. If I take it off it will have this ugly black space with the rivets showing.

I bet if you let Dan do it........it will be line-x 'ed to hell!!!!

Naw, that's Umberto, he's the one that has LineX in his bed, on his steps, on the grille guard, on the center bumper section, and the plastic valance. He also sprayed a bug guard. :dunno:

I'd just end up cutting the rivets out and putting a couple plugs in the holes. :lol: Yes, I'm OCD about badges, especially one that BIG.
