Wash, Claybar, Polish, And Wax

Well, it has been almost 6 months, and time for the pre-winter clean up. The weather has been horrible all summer, and the sun just came out, so it was a great opportunity. 2 handwashes with Black Magic Carwash, dry, Meguiar's spray detail cleaner and Clay Bar (man I got a TON of crap off), Polish with Meguiar's, and 2 coats of Meguiar's NXT Wax. I love this wax.

 

Winter is so close now, frost in the yard, in the 30's in the morning, you can see snow just above the house. Wanted to get some wax on there before the nastiness...

 

Holding off on putting the stock 20's and snow tires on as long as I can.

LOL, man and every time I do it, it is HORRIBLE....damn I can't believe how much crap comes off! I need to quit rubbing my hand over it! I notice it when I dry it with a micro fibre towel, it snags on the crap on my paint. There is so much road construction going on, tar, etc gets all over everything.

Yeah I have the same problem with the pine trees I have to park under.

Your truck looks awesome dude. I almost had to put on shades just to look at it. Good job. As far as clay barring the truck, if I could get away with it I would do it every second month. It usually turns into a 6 hour job by the time I am done, but the feel of the paint, and shine that is oh so deep. Good for you.
