Mexico Diesel

Looking for information about burning Mexican diesel in newer ulsd engines. I understand that the border states now have ulsd but further south in still older diesel. I am going to spend the winter in Baja and would like to buy a new diesel truck but am worried about burning non ulsd.

Dont do it. Mexico uses LSD which is 500ppm of sulfer. The U.S. uses ULSD which is 15ppm. You can use mexican diesel in an older truck (pre-2007) but not in the newer trucks. You will mess up the emissions equipment.
