We finally got a taste of snow today. But i think that its done for now. The weather guy here was saying that by next week Atlanta would have an inch or more and we wouldnt have but a trace. :angry: :sneek:

We have about 1 inch of snow right now, and I'm loving it. I hope we get more. They are calling for 3-5 inches here. I hope.

From Virginia Beach, VA.: By morning, we will have anywhere between 2 inches and 1 foot of snow. It depends on how close to the ocean you are. I'm about 7 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and don't know yet what that means for me because I work on a Naval Base that is on the Ocean.

There is supposed to be sleet and snow through Friday.

The good thing is: 1) I'm off work until next Monday because I took leave. 2) This will be our first snow and I don't have to go anywhere and deal with the inexperienced drivers. 3) I bought $100 worth of groceries and smokes and see #2. 4) There are 2 bars within 500 feet of my front door and I can hang out and listen to the traffic horror stories if I'm not studying for the rating exam I have to take later this month. 5) It's supposed to be all cleared up by next Monday when I go back to work.

Is there a down side? :yingyang:

Paco, if you manage to get ANY vehicle stuck in a one inch snow I will laugh my butt off.........hey Shaners/Mervz/Siilt.... lets get Paco to come on up here to NY/PA/NH when it snows....

Well, Richmond Va local weathermen here says North and west of Richmond will see nothing. Richmond vacinity will see Dusting to 3 inches. South of Richmond is expected to see 3-6 inches. And the Va\NC border is expected to get 6+ inches.
