My girlfriend just picked up a used trailblazer from a friend of mine. It's in great shape with only 58,000 miles on it. Its a 2003 with the Vortect 4200. Had time to clean it up a bit. Still have to use my Zanio wax on it though to really bring out the shine. What do you guys think?

Nice TB. I took the running-boards off my wife's 05 Envoy, made it look a lot better (put on splash guards to help). Her's is starting to tick too, 58k miles, I'll have to do a little more research myself.

We have about 90,000 miles on ours and I have not noticed any ticking.

At around 35,000 miles we replaced a CV boot that was bad.

Other than that just oil changes, filters and routine maintanence.

As you can see in my sig pic (while on a family trip South Dakota blackhills this summer), my in-laws all drive trailblazers or envoys. They always report that their rides are relatively low maintenance with mileage in the low 20s.

Good looking rig! Like that color too!

Looks really good. I'll trade you for our 96 S10 Blazer.

Speaking of those V6's, I was talking to this auto parts driver you had a 96 S10 that had almost 500,000 miles on the engine, still ran strong! The trick is to get 1 million miles and hopefully GM will give you a new vehicle for free as a reward for making the engine last that long. I saw something like that once on an episode with Married with children.
