crepitus, for future reference if you open the drivers side door and look for the sticker with the tire pressure information the build date should be printed on the same sticker.

its a truck on the dealer lot so i just wanted to see when it was built. but thanks for that bit of info. i didnt know that.

Hmm, I just checked on my Yukon and it's not on that sticker. Any other possible locations to find it?

Umm....Maybe it is not located there on the new trucks? On every vehicle I have ever owned it has been on the top of the sticker. It should be just a month and a year IE on my Silverado it says 05/03.

I checked again and I guess I was looking at the wrong place. I was looking at the tire pressure recommendation sticker on the driver's door jamb and didn't see the one on the door.
