Anyone Know If The Bed Rail Caps Would Cover This?

I know its not a big scratch but it still really pisses me off. I was putting some pipes in the back of my truck and one slipped and F**K ... I ordered some touch up paint but i know it will look like shit so I was thinking of bed rail caps but don't want to get them if they wont cover it up.....Thanks in advance for any suggestion...

Bed rail caps shoulf cover that. I think they will look good too with your bedliner. It looks like a lot of that scratch would buff out.

I buffed out as much as I could but what is left is deep. Oh well

I'd be surprised if it covered all of the scratch. I think it'd get 85% of it and probably enough to make you not notice it as much.

 

Hopefully someone with caps will post a picture from a similar angle.

I've got the caps, and based on where that is I'd agree it would cover 85-90% of it. When I get home later tonight I'll take some pictures of them and post them up here for you.

I think those will cover that scratch nearly completely. Plus they will help keep that sort of thing from happening again. Cool!

Judging by the pattern on the top they look to be GM.

yeah they're the GM ones. picked them up from the dealer when I got the running boards.
