Have Some Drivers Side Wheel Issues

On my silverado, im having some issues in the front drivers side wheel. When I hit the brakes it like creaks and makes like a light popish kind of noise when it gets warmed up. It gets worse with more driving. When it gets real hot, it grinds, and makes funny noises but most noises are when I brake at least the worst of the noise. Also when I turn it does it and am on the brakes, and when I was driving on wet grass today in 4x4 it was sorta binding/grinding on a right turn but normal 4x4 hop/slip going slightly straight and turning left. This issue is not present when I get in it and just hit the brakes, it happens as the brakes get warm. The pad rails are clean, and pads are free and not binding up. Plenty of pad life not even close to wear indicators, and there is no abnormal lines or any sort of funny wear on the rotors. When I jacked up the truck yesterday spinning the wheel I could hear the grind every turn for a second and i checked it after i drove it about 15 miles. Does not make the noise when wheel is off and spinning. Only wheel on and its a grind for a second or less and then goes away and comes back. Nothing when its cold. I was thinking the wheel bearing, and when spinning the noise was coming from close the wheel and not the differential in the front. It has to be outside shaft to the wheel somewhere. The truck sees occasional mud about 3 times a year which makes me sort of think the wheel bearing is bad. Also the creak noise i hear when I hit the brakes isnt really apparent when I am in reverse when I hit the brakes, it seems to be only forward but not too sure

Its 4x4, 5.3, 99, but I really have to get this fixed before i go on a 300 mile trip and Im sure it will really be making a scene. I drove 25 miles on thursday and it was really grinding and making some BAD noises, so I dont want to mess up the whole truck so Id like to see if anyone has some insight or maybe an idea of what the heck is wrong with my truck.

Sounds like it could possibly be a wheel bearing. Jack up the front of the truck, grab the tire at 12 and 6, and wiggle back and forth. If there's any play, and it's not the ball joints, your wheel bearing is bad.

I was supposed to go Cabelas today actually, but I didnt want to do it with the issue I have. There is NO play at all, so im not sure at all what the hell this thing is. It only does it spinning and my mile long descritption above

Sounds like you have a C/V joint going bad.
