Pulled out my friends stuck truck...

Fiday evening me and my son went out to this old dirt road to take some pictures of my truck,  let him ride his bike around in the dirt and mud, and just general goofing off.  A friend of mine with an old '86 Ranger with a wooden flatbed was out there also ripping throught the mud and playing around.  He went on up the road and a few minutes later another guy came down my way and told me there was a guy up the road stuck pretty good and he didn't think he could get him out.  I figured it was my friend, so i went to check it out.  My friend went to turn his truck around and ended up getting stuck in the very loose sand.  It was sitting on the rear axle.  I hooked my chain to the front tow hooks and pulled his out with ease.  Now, granted it was a Ranger with a wood flat bed that probably weight around 2000 lbs or maybe a little more.  I put it in 4 Lo and dropped her into reverse and didn't even have to give it any gas to get him unstuck.  I couldn't even tell it was pulling anything.  I was getting ready to give it gas when I started going back on it's own, so i just let it go.  I thought that was pretty cool.  My son liked it too.  He thought that was the neatest thing, pulling someone out that was stuck.

After we all left, I got to thinking, the guy that didn't think he could pull him out was in a F-150.  Chevrolet saves the day again.  I had 2 pictures left on my roll of film and i wish now i would have had my son take a picture of me pulling the ford out.  That would have went well on my page.   We ended up taking the last 2 of my friend blasting throught the mud again.  If they turn out, I'll post a pic.

It would've been cool for you to have taken a couple of pictures but then again,it's a Chevy pulling out a Ford so it's not like it's something we've never seen!LOL

seems everytime my friend and i go out i end up pulling out his old burb. most of the time he gets high center on things in 2wd. sometimes just messes around and i have to pull him out. just funny.

Chains are dangerous.  Granted they prolly wouldn't have broken and become bullet whips, but if you pull out trucks your trucks size, well... i would make sure you have no one anywhere near the trucks.  I watched a film witha  guy using chains, chain broke, went through his back window, killed him instantly.
